Sneak Peek: Crochet Head Warmer

With fall just around the corner, I’m just bursting with excitement over my latest project – crochet head warmers! Wider than a head band and less work than a hat, I’m hoping these cozy creations will be a hit with my girls this fall. Inspired by photos found on Pinterest, I crocheted this pretty head warmer for girl number 2 (while feeding girl number 3!). Here she is modelling my work:

I used a crochet “seed” stitch to create the wide band. The roses and leaves are crocheted individually and sewn onto the band to hide the seam.

Here is a closer look at the crochet roses and leaves (both super easy to make).

It’s nice to have three girls to makes things for, especially when I get paid with hugs, kisses and happy smiles.

Stay tuned for a peek at the head warmer I made girl number 1 and a pattern for you to make your own must have fall accessory!
