Hello everybody! Today I’m going to show you a fun Silhouette Printable Magnet Paper project that you can make without having to use a Cameo or Portrait (the electronic cutters). I’ll repeat that – the Silhouette Cameo is NOT REQUIRED for this project. Of course if you happen to have a Cameo or Portrait…by all means, go ahead and use it!
Meet our newest friends Addie, Amelia, Goeroge, Jack, Jane and Lola! Aren’t they adorable?
I think mommy likes this magnetic doll set more than her little girls do!
Now that we have established how cute these dolls are, let’s get down to showing you how to make your own set.
Make Your Own Magnetic Dress Up Dolls
Tools & Materials
- Silhouette Printable Magnet Paper (other brands are fine)
- Inkjet Printer
- Paper or Magnetic Doll Templates
I love my set of magnetic dolls. love the vintage look and the fact that the dolls look like little girls wearing little girl clothes. Don’t get me wrong, I played with my share of Barbies and my kids of tons of those too. Once in awhile it’s nice for my girls to play with dolls that look somewhat realistic! I purchased the doll set from Sarah Jane Studios. If you don’t want to buy the set, there are two free templates available and you can find them here and here.
Now I promised you an easy project and it really doesn’t get easier than this. All you have to do is print your doll templates on magnet paper and then cut the set out by hand. Just follow the outline of the dolls and clothes and forget about the tabs.
I hope you enjoyed this crafty project. Be sure to head over to Sarah Jane Studios to get your free paper doll templates (and other fun freebies)!
Until next time…Happy Crafting!
